T D BAKER
TD Baker
Southwestern Acoustic Music
TD Baker is available for solo bookings or with A Company of Wayward Saints on select days and nights. Call for availability - it depends on my "day jobs".
Ok, we know there's not much of a calender here but  coffee houses and other acoustic music hosts have pretty much dried up or  don't want to pay for performers. This is due  largely to amateurs & wannabes who are willing to play for free and set up a tip jar that at today's gas prices seldom nets gas money. As long as these folks are willing to play for free, the coffee houses will continue to take advantage of the situation & those of us who like to be paid will continue to stay at home or play benefits where  no pay is expected but  at least  it's for a good cause.

WHY I DON'T PLAY IN BARS

No, I'm not a prude, in fact I like Shiner, good Bourbon, and non-pretentious wines! But, being a rather old fart, I've already done the bar scene for the required number of years. Whereas I'll play almost anywhere for money, now I play songs with words you might like to actually hear, which requires a different kind of environment than a noisy bar.
