SHOWS, Past & Future:
Friday, June 16, 2006 - Alvarado Public
Library. Thank you to the Southwest Transplant Alliance for sending Darla Magtibay to talk about organ transplants and her own personal story, and to Bee
Bee Reid, my daughter, for her insight gained as an RN on Dallas Methodist's NeuroCCU Unit.
Twee Zangers did some songs and pictures, Terry
Allan Hall sang the mermaid song, then TD Baker's band A Company
of Wayward Saints finished out the evening, sending the audience off with new knowledge and bags of popcorn!
A special thank-you to Eric Lidji of the Alvarado Post &
Darlene Moore of the Alvarado Star for their stories and photos of our little show in the
newspapers - your help in this way is a blessing.
June 20, 2006 - Cleburne Public Library - Summer Reading
Program. WOW this was fun. Thanks to Nikki Perkins for the great group of kids and parents!
July 26, 2006 - FW Public Library - Ridglea Branch
- Summer Reading Program. Thank you, Becca, for a warm reception and all those wonderful kids.
Our libraries are blessed with the greatest librarians ever!
Sat. Nov. 4, 2006 - The Cleburne Public Library 1st Annual
Fall Festival & Fundraiser! Twee
Zangers' other entity, A Company of Wayward Saints, played some "grown-up" music from about 11:00am to 2:00 or so. The
book sale was a success, and much chili was sold. Yum, it was good, too! Cleburne's Friends Of The Library are a talented
bunch! Many thanks to the wonderful Nikki Perkins!

Twee Zangers called upon TD Baker to play this event, as Chris was recovering from liver transplant surgery. He said it was
delicious!

Saturday, May 3, 2008. On the Tom Thumb Children's Stage, at 6:00pm.
The weather was perfect! Our new member, Sophie Staecker, joined us for the first time. Yay!
2009
Mayfest was cancelled this year.
2010
MAYFEST!
Sunday, May 2 in Trinity Park, Ft. Worth, TX
^^^ 2011, 2012, 2013 ^^^
MAYFEST has disappointed us again in 2013 by losing our application for
the 3rd year in a row. The chronic ineptitude displayed by the organizers of the performers for Mayfest have caused us to
discontinue our participation in the festival. We believe performers, especially longtime, loyal performers like Twee Zangers
(unpaid, at that!) deserve better treatment.
Sorry, kids!
